TRADER JOES IS COMING TO
WESTWOOD VILLAGE!
 Palazzo Westwood Village is scheduled to have occupants start moving in by March. The news of Trader Joes as the anchor tenant is exciting for everyone in the area. There is talk of a possible drug store chain as the other main anchor and there will be many shops, and a few places to eat along the street and lots of parking. Westwood is finally coming back to life so that those in the neighborhood can truly enjoy walking and the close proximity of all the attractions Westwood has to offer.
The Palazzo is a luxury residential complex that has 1-3 bedroom apartments and town home style. The complex has an infinity pool, Rock climbing wall, fitness center, health spa, executive business center, concierge, gardens , fountains, is pet friendly and has many other amenities. Want to try great sushi.! Although this small restaurant doesn’t look like anything special, the California rolls in soy wrapping, salmon sushi and many specialties are great at Tomodachi on Weyburn.
Yamato Japanese restaurant chain has taken the former space occupied by Eurochow. A great place to have a family gathering or a special date watching chefs chop and cut sizzling platters at your table
Another great new place to eat is The Stand. They serve hot dogs, salads, hamburgers ,breakfast, etc.
Scheduled to open in April of 2008, Hotel Palomar Westwood at 10740 Wilshire Blvd. will be managed by Kimpton Hotels. This 18 Story hotel is situated along Westwood’s “Golden Mile”.The Wilshire Corridor. This is the first and only green hotel in Los Angeles and can provide rooms for special events scoordinating. |
